Paris
Saints Germain star forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reacted bitterly to the
people of the national newspaper who put him on the second spot behind Tennis
star Bjorn Borg.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic told that he should be placed from number 1 to 5 for his performances after failing to top the sportsman chart.
The
Swedish player who has scored 51 goals in more than 100 games for his county has
won Guldbollen and Swedish footballer of the year several times but he was
placed on the number second spot behind the former Tennis star Bjorn Borg who won
Wimbledon five-time.
Swedish
newspaper Dagens Nyheter who made a poll for the top 150 Swedes picked Ibra as
the second sportsman on which he replied in typical candid fashion that
second position is same as of last one.
The 33-year-old who is
yet to lift a Champions League trophy said:
“Thank
you (for the congratulations), but to finish second is like finishing last.”
He
clearly praised himself by saying:
“On
that list I would have been number 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, with due respect to the
others.”
Despite
of that comments made by the former Barcelona striker in the end he also added
some nice words for the Tennis star.
“He
is a cool person and a living legend.”
