Everton
attacker Steven Naismith has signed a new long term deal which will keep him at
Goodison Park until 2019.
The
former Rangers forward who signed a five-year-deal joined Everton on a free
transfer in 2012.
He
signed a four-year-deal that time but just after two years Everton offered him
another long term deal.
The
28-year-old Scottish attacker has scored 19 goals in 86 appearances.
Naismith
told Everton official TV channel that he is happy at Everton, it is just after
two years that they offered him a three-year contract extension.
He
said: "I would say this is probably the best form of my career. I'm
delighted to have agreed an extension which will keep me here for a few more
years yet."
He
thinks that he is on top of his form at the moment, he is very happy to sign a
new deal.
Naismith
played five seasons for Rangers during which he scored 33 goals in 140 games. He
won three Scottish League titles, and few Scottish Cup trophies.
He
has scored 13 Premier League goals for Everton in 74 games since his move. Currently
this season in Premier League, he has scored five goals in 13 appearances.
