Chelsea
are planning to send their young centre-back Kurt Zouma on loan as Turkish side
Besiktas are interested in his move.
Reports
in Turkey have already revealed that Chelsea and Besiktas have agreed for this
move and the player will be moving on a six moths loan. Daily Star reported that he will join former Chelsea striker Demba Ba at Besiktas.
Chelsea
signed him from Ligue 1 side St Ettiene for £12.5 million in January, but was
sent on loan to his former club to spend the second half of last season.
Zouma
is a young talented player but is yet to show enough positives that can replace
Gary Cahill or John Terry.
Zouma was bought with high hopes but he failed to prove his worth this season. Mourinho is hoping for his improvement in Turkey so that he might get a regular spot at Stamford Bridge next season.
The
20-year-old has made only 8 appearances this season. He is yet to start his
first game in the Premier League.
Staying
in London will not help him. He is just similar to Romelu Lukaku who was bought
with high hopes but was not given enough chances. Currently, he is enjoying his life at Everton.
