Bojan
Krkic’s father has slammed former Barca boss Pep Guardiola as he told that
Bojan never failed to prove himself at Camp Nou, it was Guardiola who never
gave him enough chances.
Bojan who was taught to be a talented kid when he was at Barcelona but failed to make his name in the Barcelona jersey.
His
father believed that he would have been a great player for Barca if Guardiola
had given him consistent games to prove.
Bojan
came from Barca youth side before getting his name in the first team in 2007.
That time, he was tipped to be the next Lionel Messi but circumstances never
let him to achieve.
He
made more than 100 appearances in his four years at Camp Nou during which he
spent season at Roma, AC Milan and Ajax on loan.
The
24-year-old is currently very happy at Stoke City and enjoying his life as he
is getting the full freedom.
His
father told Mail: “Guardiola didn't give him continuity. In the Copa del Rey,
Bojan was the top goalscorer for Pep. He would score one or two goals in La
Liga and then not play for weeks, it is very curious.”
Despite
of Bojan performances he never got what he deserved. Barca even signed David
Villa, ignoring their young star player who was flourishing.
His
father also added: “At Stoke, he is playing like an animal. He saves his best
for the big games.”
The
Spaniard has scored 2 goals in 12 games and is reproducing his old days in the
Premier League. Stoke
boss Mark Hughes has already admired Bojan several times.
