We have captured many moments of Arsenal in the year 2014, but we have mentioned the three different top moments including a team moment, a transfer moment and a goal moment.
Below are the top three moments on which Arsenal fans may agree on it. Winning a trophy after nine years
won the FA Cup in May and ended their trophyless run of nine years. The
Gunners beat Hull City by 3 goals to two to clinch their 11th FA Cup
match was not an easy one for Arsene Wenger as Hull did their best to keep in
the game till the 120th minute. Aaron Ramsey scored the winner in the extra
time and won Arsenal a trophy after 3,283 days.
Manchester United have won 11 FA Cups in the history of football.
Signature of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona
signed Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona for a fee around £35million in the summerwhich was one
of the best summer news for the Gonners. The Chilean has been impressive for
the North London side, he is the top scorer for Arsenal with 10 goals in the Premier League.
Last year Arsenal signed Mesut Ozil for a record fee around £42million but the German failed to make an impact comparing to Alexis Sanchez who has taken the burden of Arsenal on his shoulders.
Aaron Ramsey goal against Galatasaray
midfielder Aaron Ramsey scored an exceptional volley directly into the left top corner from 28.7 yards with a speed of 53.4mph. The goal came in a Champions League group
game against Turkish side Galatasaray earlier this month. This goal could be nominated for the
goal of the year award. Watch
