Arsenal
are ready to offer £16million for Newcastle United star midfielder Mousa
Sissoko, according to reports in Mirror.
Arsenal
who have been in search of a midfielder have finally found the new Patrick
Vieira. Mirror
reported that Arsenal are in strong link with the Frenchman who is eyeing a
move to a Champions League club.
The
25-year-old has already expressed his desire to sign for Arsenal. Recently, he told
that his ambition is to play at the best clubs, he wants to win trophies but
currently he is happy at Newcastle United.
Newcastle
boss Alan Pardew will try to keep him at any cost but he is well aware of
Sissoko who has already made up his mind for a move to a better club.
The
French midfielder has been impressive since his move from Toulouse
in 2012. Sissoko has made 15 Premier League appearances for the Magpies this
season.
Reports
are claiming that Sissoko would not cost more than £16million and that is easy
for Arsenal to splash. The Frenchman would be a perfect player who can provide
the defensive steel and combativeness in the midfield.
While
Arsenal have also been in link with Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin
who is ready to snub Tottenham Hotspurs.
