Star has reported that Premier League side Arsenal are eyeing for a £20million
bid for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christoph Kramer.
Arsenal who have been strongly linked with Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira will be making an offer for Christoph Kramer if they fail to land Khedira from Real Madrid.
Spanish media has already claimed that Khedira is a top target of the north London side for the winter transfer window.
However,
several top clubs have already shown interest in him including local rivals Chelsea.
Khedira
contract is getting to an end but boss Carlo Ancelotti is confident that
the German will sign a new deal.
While
on the other hand, Bayer Leverkusen 23-year-old midfielder Christoph Kramer has
been impressive this season. He is currently on a two-year loan deal at Borussia
Monchengladbach.
Kramer
who was also the part of World Cup winning squad has already expressed his
desire to play abroad. Especially, Premier League which is the best and challenging
league in the world.
Kramer
said: “That [moving abroad] has always interested me. I would not be afraid. I
want to find out what my limit is and I always strive for the very best.”
Kramer
is currently spending his second season at Borussia Monchengladbach. He has played 39 games since his
loan move.
