Greek
side Olympiakos are keeping tabs on Arsenal attacking midfielder Tomas Rosicky, according to Greek reports.
English
media Independent quoted the Greek news that Olympiakos are keen to land new faces
in January especially midfielders as Luka Milivojevic recently suffered a
serious injury and Delvin Ndinga will not be available due to Africa Cup of
Nations.
While
Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is having a struggling season with injuries
and playing time. Arsenal have no place for the 34-year-old in the squad and he
might be thinking for a move next month.
Rosicky
who joined the Gunners in 2006 from German side Borussia Dortmund has a
contract until the summer of 2016 with the English side.
The
former Dortmund attacker has scored 25 goals in 229 appearances for the North
London side since his move. This season he has just made only three appearances
in the Premier League despite of the injuries of Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey and
Jack Wilshere.
He
is one of those senior players for Arsenal who have been serving for more than
eight years.
However,
he remains a vital player for his country Czech Republic. He has made 98
appearances for the national side and hopefully looking to make a century soon.
