Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out the rumours linking his striker Joel Campbell
with a move away from Arsenal.
Arsenal
striker Joel Campbell has been in continuous link with a move away from the North
London side due to lack of playing time.
The
Costa Rican who shined at the World Cup has been struggling to get first team opportunity
this season.
With
several teams have set their eyes on the 21-year-old striker, Arsenal boss Arsene
Wenger commented that he will not let him leave in January.
Reports
have suggested that Serie A side Inter Milan and English outfit Southampton
both are keeping tabs on his situation.
While
Arsenal German attacker Lukas Podolski has also been in link with a move.
The
World Cup winner has struggled to get a name in the starting eleven this
season. He admitted few weeks ago that he wants to play regular football.
The
29-year-old started a game and scored two goals in a Champions League game against Galatasaray, yesterday.
Wenger
told Arsenal official website that it is very difficult to give everyone a regular
place. They have Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Lukas Podolski,
Yaya Sanoga and Joel Campbell, but cannot play all of them regularly.
Both
the attackers have a contract till the summer of 2016.
