Chelsea
attacker Andre Schurrle has expressed his desire to stay in London at Stamford
Bridge despite of not getting enough playing time.
Andre Schurrle has been linked with numerous sides for a move away from London in the coming Transfer Window. However, the World Cup winner has confirmed that he is happy and will stay with the Blue side of London.
According
to last month’s reports, Chelsea were willing to sale Schurrle, but with his
latest comments the Blues boss Jose Mourinho might keep him.
Schurrle
who joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen has no plans to leave, according to
London Evening Standard.
The
German attacker told: “Of course I can just laugh all the talk of leaving off.
I am not going to change the club in the transfer window.”
Schurrle
made 30 Premier League appearances last season for Chelsea but this season has
he managed to get 8 appearances and majority were from the bench. He has not
been consistent in terms of getting a starting lineup this term.
He
further added that Chelsea is a great team and he loves the fans. He has a contract with the blues and currently he is a blue.
The
former Leverkusen star scored a goal against Sporting Lisbon in a Champions
League last group game yesterday .
The
