Arsenal
German forward Lukas Podolski is set to leave the Gunners next month for Inter
Milan on loan, as per Daily Mail reports.
Lukas
Podolski's struggling season might finally come to an end with reports suggesting
strongly that Italian outfit Inter Milan are set to seal a six month loan deal for
the World Cup winner. The transfer will be finalized after the Southampton’s
clash on New Year due to Olivier Giroud’s suspension.
Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger could start him for the last time against the Saints as he
told that nobody is going out at the moment.
Wenger
told: “At the moment, nobody goes out.”
Podolski
has made only six Premier League appearances so far this season.
Inter
Milan representatives who were in London few days ago have agreed all the
terms for the move which will be done in a week. Arsenal will get £1.5million
fee for the 29-year-old from Inter Milan.
The
Gunners have no plan to keep him who has a year left on his contract. He could
be sold on permanent basis in the summer.
Meanwhille, Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil will also be back in few weeks after remaining on the sidelines
since October.
Also, Theo Walcott has already made a comeback which will decrease Podolski's further
chances at the North London side.
