Manchester
United have entered the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Christoph
Kramer, according to TalkSports.
The
reports have claimed that Arsenal and Real Madrid are already in the queue. Arsenal have been in continuous link with the German midfielder, according to
DailyStar. It seems that the Gunners have failed to land Real Madrid midfielder
Sami Khedira.
Arsenal
central midfield positions are currently occupied by Mikel Arteta and Mathieu
Flamini but both the players have failed to make the impact this season.
While
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is also keen on the German as James Rodriguez
and Luka Modric both are out with injures.
On
the other hand, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has also been in search
of a midfielder and has now entered the race to give tough time to Spanish giants
and Arsenal.
Despite
Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini both have been impressive in the past
games, the Dutch boss is looking to strengthen his side by capturing Kramer’s services.
The
23-year-old has a worth around £8million according to his side Bayer Leverkusen.
He is currently plying his third season on loan away from his parent club.
