Former
Liverpool and Tottenham star striker Robbie Keane has been named the most
valuable footballer in the Major League Soccer.


Robbie
Keane joined the MLS after playing wonderful years in the Premier League. He joined
LA Galaxy from Tottenham Hotspurs in 2011.
The
LA Galaxy captain has been playing impressive football for the MLS side since his move. He
played a key role in the MLS Cup, he helped them to reach the finals. He has scored
22 goals in 33 games in all competitions.
The
34-year-old has scored 68 goals in 111 games since his move to America.
New
England Revolution midfidler Lee Nguyen and Seattle Sounders forward Obafemi
Martins were the other two nominees who were beaten by Keane for the prestigious
award.
The
Ireland international has proved himself as the best signing for the MLS side.
He has won two MLS titles with LA Galaxy and will make the figure three when
his side play against Revolution in the final on Saturday.
Kean
who singed a mult-year contract with Galaxy in the start of 2014 netted 126
Premier League goals before leaving England for America.
