La
Liga side Atletico Madrid have confirmed an 18-month loan move for AC Milan
striker Fernando Torres.
It
was reported few days ago that AC Milan have confirmed to sign Fernando Torres
on permanent basis from Chelsea next week and earlier today they agreed to send
him on loan to his boyhood side.
Fernando
Torres who spent six maonths on loan at AC Milan from Chelsea will spend the
rest of his 18-months at his childhood club Atletico Madrid after failing to
impress AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi. The Spaniard netted only a goal in 10 appearances.
Fernando
Torres revealed his happiness by posting the below tweet.
He
tweeted: “At last back home. Thanks to

Torres
who has played with current Atletico manger Diego Simeone said that returning
to his home town club is like a dream come true.
The
30-year-old striker left Atletico in 2007 for Liverpool where he played his
best days. He netted 81 goals in 142 appearances for the Reds.
While
AC Milan are still demanding their flop attacker Alessio Cerci in return.
