Arsenal
have given a bad news to the fans as they revealed that star player Aaron
Ramsey is out until the new year with his hamstring injury.
The
Welsh midfielder scored an exceptional goal before picking up a hamstring
injury in a Champions League game against Turkish side Galatasaray few days
ago.
Yesterday,
it was reported that Ramsey will have a test today to see whether he will be available
for Newcastle United game this weekend or not. But he failed the test and now
will have to miss the Christmas program.
The
23-year-old has joined defenders Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny on the
sideline.
While
Wenger thanked his countryman Alan Pardew for his compliments yesterday and
added regarding the Newcastle United manager that he has changed the club since
his arrival. He started the season with difficulty but now have settled his side. Newcastle
fans were hoping their club to sack Alan Pardew before the impressive run in
the recent weeks.
Arsenal
boss said: “I am very thankful for compliments but all I want is to do well for
my club.”
The
Magpies ended the unbeaten run of Chelsea last weekend and they will surely
give a hard time to the Gunners. But Wenger is confident that his side is also
in fine form as they have won four out of their last five games.
He
further added: “Newcastle had a great result last week and they are going well.
But we have won four of our last five we are on a good trend.”
