Robin van Persie joined Manchester United from Arsenal in 2012 after playing eight seasons for the north London side. The Dutchman left Arsenal for trophies and won only a Premier League trophy since he joined United.

The 31-year-old has also lost his form despite of the arrival of his admirer Louis van Gaal. It was expected that LVG will help the striker to shine once again. He has scored only 3 goals in 8 games so far this season.

He scored a late equalizer against Chelsea a week ago which brought some hope for the United fans but failed to score against Manchester City few days ago.

Radamel Falcao who signed from Monaco on a two-year-loan deal has returned from his injury and he might be taking RVP’s role in front of goals.

Van Persie is now 31-year-old and is reportedly earning 250k-a-week. According to SoccerNews, Turkish giants Fenerbahce are eyeing the former Gunner.

The discussions have already been started according to reports and his international teammate Dirk Kuyt is convincing him to join him at Fenerbahce.

United who are not in the Champions League are struggling this season too. Currently, sitting at the 10th spot.

Fenerbahce are willing to offer £15millon for Van Persie but won’t be able to meet his wage demands, Persie will have to accept a big wage cut.
