For
a club that was in dire news of receiving some good news as 3 defeats in as
many chances have effectively ruined their chances of winning League title this
season, Belgian starlet Divock Origi has provided Liverpool fans the assurance
that he’ll move to Liverpool in January, should both Lille and Liverpool decide
the same. And with nothing going in favour of Liverpool striking department in the absence of Daniel Sturridge, Brendan Rodgers might have to look towards France in
order to bolster his team in winter transfer window.
The
19-year-old has been a stunning revelation in summer as his goal guided Belgium
past USA in the pre-quarters to land the Red Devils a place in the last
16. And with his over-the-moon
performances this season with 3 goals already, Divock Origi has been a source
of talk amongst the Liverpool faithful this season.
After
his team’s recent win against Iceland in which Origi scored a goal to help them
strengthen their position in EURO Qualifying group, Origi was quizzed by the
reporters that whether he is open to an early move to Liverpool football club.
Speaking to the reporters, Origi pursued his stance that he’ll join Liverpool
and that many of the people amongst Liverpool medical staff, have expressed
their desire to land him on board.
Liverpool,
who have been short on striking options this season as none of the 3 new-comers
in Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini or Rickie Lambert have found the back of the net in 11 games. And
with Sturridge as injury prone as always, Liverpool might have to pay Lille an
extra £0million if they are to waive off his loan spell at the French
soil.
yew we need him/
