Arsenal
are leading the race to sign Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak according
to several reports.
Daily Express reported that the North London side are in front of the race for the highly-rated Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak who is also been on Borussia Dortmund’s radar.
The
Poland international is having an impressive season for the La Liga side. He has
made 11 appearances in La Liga but yes to score a goal.
Sevilla
signed him for a fee around €4.5million from French side Reims in the summer
and the midfielder has been a successful signing so far.
Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger has already been in search of a midfielder who can solve the
issues as current midfielders Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta have been inconsistent this season.
Real
Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira and Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin
are already on Arsenal’s radar.
The
buyout clause for the Polishman is around £24million and Bundesliga side
Dortmund are planning to offer £18million, the Gunners will have to pay more to
acquire his services.
Arsenal
strengthen their attacking areas in the summer by signing Alexis Sanchez and
Danny Welbeck from Barcelona and
Manchester United, respectively and now looking to complete their midfield too.
Wenger
has been given around £20million for the January transfer window and with
reports suggesting that Mesut Ozil could be on his way out of the Emirates.
