While
Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent form indicates that football is all about banging
goals and scoring hat-tricks with all of them seeming ridiculously easy, teams
like Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also trying their level best to come to
par with the 10 time European Champions. While Chelsea started their pursuit to
the Premier League title with a bang scoring 16 goals in their first 5 matches
of the season, un-timely injury to their spearhead Diego Costa have corroded the high
scoring blues.

We take a look at 5 teams whose attack has been a nightmare for the opponents so far this season:-
No
prizes for guessing as the 10 times Champions League winners were an easy bet to
be the top scorer in Europe’s domestic Leagues this season. While Ronaldo have
surpassed the 15th goal mark with his penalty against Barcelona, the Portuguese
have scored more goals than all but three sides in LA Liga this season. Real Madrid
have so far scored 33 goals at a staggering ratio of 3.3 goals per game.
Marseille:
One
of the shock teams in this list, Olympique de Marseille side have done really
well to beat the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich to climb places up in
this ranking.
Having
scored 25 goals in their League and putting high spenders like PSG on check,
the ten times French Ligue 1 Champions have the luxury of having 9 different
goal scorers in their team. Standing on top of them, is the Frenchman Andre
Pierre Gignac as he has entered in double figures, in terms of goals already
this season.
Chelsea:
After
scoring 15 goals in the opening 5 games with Diego Costa on top of his game
after a disastrous World Cup in summer, the blues have gone relatively quiet in
terms of goals as they managed ONLY 9 in the next 4. After being the recipients
of Golden glove winners last term, the blues missed a short on the title only
due to their ineffective strike force. And importing all three strikers from
abroad all of whom have collectively scored more than 15 so far, Chelsea have
mitigated the absence of ruthlessness which was missing from their game last
term out.
Barcelona:
It
is impossible to mention any scoring charts without the two Spanish giants in
them. While the Real Madrid side are ranked at the top merely due to their goal
scoring streak, the Catalan giants have a mixed balance of attack and defense
in their season. And they are also one of a few sides that have the best
defense and attack in Europe. Barcelona have scored 23 goals in the League with
Lionel Messi contributing in 7 of them.
Bayern
Munich, PSG and Lyon:
From
the current European contenders to the upcoming driving force and the team with
an history in this competition, Bayern Munich, Lyon and PSG have all scored 21
goals each this season in their respective Leagues. While Bayern Munich are
sitting on the top of Bundesliga League table, PSG and Lyon are ranked 2nd and
3rd in French Ligue one, respectively.
