The
Italian side AS Roma who had a 100% record before this weekend lose against
Juventus have reportedly set their eyes on Manchester City defender Matija
Nastasic.
The
21-year-old has lost his place at the center of defence as manager
Manuel Pellegrini has given his preference to new summer signing Eliaquim
Mangala.
The Serbian played the full game against Arsenal in the Community Shield fixture before the start of the season but since then he has not even appear on the bench.

Manchester
City signed Nastasic from Fiorentina for a fee around £12million in 2012, since then he has
played 50 games for the Citizens.
While
according to summer reports, Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal were also
interested in Nastasic. It seems that Arsene Wenger might reignite their interest in
January but will have to fight Roma as boss Rudi Garcia is keen to sign him permanently
in the winter transfer window after failing to land him on loan few months ago.
Manchester City won’t be blocking his move as he seems to be a useless player for them now.
