Wenger
accused Mourinho of a scared manager in February 2014. Le Professor said this
about his Chelsea counterpart.
“Why
are other managers saying they are not (title) contenders? It’s a fear of
failing.”
The
Special one always loves to have a dig on his opponents. And when Wenger
provoked him Last year, this is how Mourinho labels Arsene Wenger.
“Am
I afraid of failure? He is a specialist in failure, I am not.”
Some
people criticises Mourinho’s style of lining up his team in big matches. Wenger
is one of those who thinks Mourinho is not a proper attack minded football
manager. Back in 2005, he used to say,
“Once
a sport encourages a team who refuses to take the initiative, the sport is in
danger.”
In
2005, Mourinho made a rather cheeky statement against Wenger.
“He
is one of those people who is a voyeur.”
Wenger
found these remarks of the Portuguese manager very disrespectful. In an aggressive
mood, the French man responded,
“When
u give success to stupid people, it makes them more stupid sometimes.”
