Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger who completed his 18 years yesterday as the manager of Arsenal is said to be reigniting his interest in the German midfielder Sami Khedira.
Khedira has only made two appearances for the Los Blancos this season and has also
rejected a new contract. It seems like he might be planning for a move away from
Santiago Bernabeu in order to get regular playing time on the field.
The 27-year-old will be out of contract next summer which means Madrid will be selling him in January
if they fail to convince him for a new contract.
With
the arrival of Toni Kroos and James Rodrigues, Khedira has found himself on bench
rather than on field despite of his pperformancesat the World Cup in summer.
While
London side might have to face some competitions with the local rival Chelsea
as they are also interested in the World Cup winner since the summer transfer
window.
Chelsea
boss Jose Mourinho might not be in any urgency for a midfield player but Arsene
Wenger should have to consider as they are lacking in the center of midfield.
