All
big names including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Gareth Bale, Andres
Iniesta are shortlisted along with some youngsters like Thibaut Courtois who had an
amazing last season for Atletico Madrid plus currently having a great season
at Chelsea.
Premier
League joint top scorer Diego Costa is also on the list along with his club mate
Eden Hazard. While Real Madrid and Bayern Munich lead the list with the most
number of players.
Real Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez who impressed at the World Cup.
Bayern
Munich: Thomas Muller, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Goetze, Philipp Lahm,
Arjen Robben and Manuel Neuer. Five of them were part of Germany squad who won
the World Cup in July.
While
Barcelona have only four players and last season’s Premier League top scorer
Luis Suarez who moved to Barcelona this summer has been left out by the Football
federation. His biting incident against Italy in the World Cup is the main reason.
