The Englishman is expected to be out for atleast three weeks which is a major problem for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers. This might not be a big problem for England but its certainly a big deal for Liverpool.
Sturridge
is expected to miss next three games which are against Aston Villa, West Ham
and a derby game against Everton.
The 24-year-old might make a return before the derby but still its unsure and a headache for Brendan Rodgers. Mario Balotelli is the likely one to continue his starting place and shine in the absence of Sturridge, while Rickie Lambert is also the man in intentions who might possibly start along with the Italian.

England
who will face Switzerland tomorrow in the European Cup qualifying round will
have to start either Lambert of Arsenal new boy Danny Welbeck inplace of
Sturridge.
Former
English footballer Matt Le Tissier believes that Lambert could be the right man to replace his teammate.
The
Group E includes England, Switzerland, Slovenia, Estonia, Lithuania and San
Marino.
Wayne
Rooney and Chelsea’s Gary Cahill believes that Switzerland game will be the
toughest one as compared to others and a win will give them a great boost.
While
England boss Roy Hodgson told on tomorrow’s game: “This is the first match of
qualifying. We are not preparing for a World Cup final.”
“We
want to get off to a good start. We want to play well, we want to win but if we
win 3-0 that still doesn't mean to say we're going to win the Euros in 2016.”
