Arsenal
new right-back Mathieu Debuchy has admitted that it is not an easy task to
replace former Arsenal man Bacary Sagna.
Mathieu
Debuchy joined Arsenal this summer from Newcastle United for a fee around £8million. While
Bacary Sagna joined Manchester City on a free transfer few months ago and will
face his former side at the Emirates stadium tomorrow.

The
Frenchman thinks that the void left by Sagna is very difficult to fill. Both
of them have played together for France.
Debuchy told: “Bacary is a good friend of mine, we have been in touch for many years now as we have been playing together in the national French team,”

added that he has good relationship and wishes him best of luck for his career
at Etihad Stadium. It is been a long time since they know each other very well,
he said: “everything is cool between us.”
Regarding
the City game the 28-year-old full-back said that this is an important game in
terms of every aspect. International duty is now over and Arsenal should start
winning their games.
“Now that we are done with international games
we want to start on a positive note and we want to win that game.”
Manchester
City is always a difficult team to play, but like the community shield anything
can happen.
