Liverpool
have signed many names this summer, some impressed and some not but the two
best signings Mario Balotelli and Adam Lallana failed to make a name in their first
game of the Barclays Premier League.
Mario Balotelli
The
£16million striker has played two games for Liverpool, his debut came against Tottenham
Hotspurs two weeks ago and he played more than 60 minutes but failed to fulfil
the expectations. He had many chances which should have been converted into
goals. The 24-year-old had five shots
and only one of them was on goal, committed four fouls as usual. While for
yesterday, he started the game and played better as compared to his debut but
still could not find his top form.
Daniel
Sturridge is out with an injury for two more weeks and with a Champions League fixture
in the mid-week the Italian striker surely have to prove his worth.
Adam Lallana
Lallana
who was brought to Anfield for a fee around £25million also failed to impress
at Anfield. Yesterday, he made a debut in a disappointing game against Aston
Villa at Anfield. He had 2 shots and provided a single key pass, completed only
15 passes before being replaced by Raheem Sterling on the 61st minute.
Lallana was not that much bad because it was overall the team problem but still should have done something more.
Both the players have talent and have proved in the past, they need time to settle in at Liverpool and will surely do something good.

Both
of them will hopefully be in the starting lineup for the upcoming UEFA
Champions League game against Ludogorets Razgrad at Anfield this
Tuesday.
Balotelli and Lallana both failed to impress on their debuts?

balo was poor but lallana was fine if you overall see the team performance, balo played poor when lfc were high agaisnt Spurs.
