The Frenchman has been in link this summer with Arsenal and Liverpool, he almost completed a move to Liverpool but failed the medical test according to reports.
The 27-year-old joined QPR from Marseille in 2012, he played 14 Premier League games for QPR and 26 for Newcastle last season.
Remy
who spent last season on loan at Newcastle United was keen to join a Champions
League club while recently a new link with Chelsea is made by the papers. His dream was almost fulfilled before failing the medical for Liverpool
last month.
Spurs
are not the part of Champions League football but Chelsea can offer the
Frenchman Champions League but cannot guarantee the playing time as they already
have variety of strikers including new signing Diego Costa.
Spurs
are ready to sell their striker Roberto Soldado who had a flop debut
season. He is already being eyed by La Liga winners Atletico Madrid and is set
to leave the White Hart Lane this month.
