Premier
League outfits Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspurs and Liverpool all are set to suffer a big
blow as their target Wilfried Bony is reportedly staying at Swansea City.
Swansea
City striker Wilfried Bony has been strongly targeted by all these top Premier League
clubs but failed to conclude any deal.
Arsenal
were strongly linked with the Ivorian striker before the signature of Alexis
Sanchez from Barcelona. While Spurs and Liverpool are currently keeping tabs on
him.
The
25-year-old was signed last summer for £12million from Dutch club Vitesse,
since then he has scored 25 goals in 48 appearances.
Swansea
City manager Garry Monk has told that Bony can be a great striker if he
continues with the Swans next season.
Boss
said: "I've said all along how important Wilfried is to us and what a good
player he is. For me I can help him become an even better player this season."
Despite
of such big names linked with Bony, Monk is confident that his star will not
leave the club this summer.
While
on the other hand, Arsenal and Liverpool target Karim Benzema has signed a new
five-year deal at Real Madrid.
Benzema
was also strongly monitored by Arsenal few months ago and recently he was on Liverpool's radar.
Junaid Effendi follow him on Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus.
