Atletico
Madrid have reignited their interest in Tottenham Hotspurs striker Roberto
Soldado despite of the fans' protest against the Spanish striker.
Tottenham
Hotspurs signed Roberto Soldado last year from Valencia for a fee of £28million.
The striker failed to prove his worth at the White Hart lane as he scored only
6 Premier League goals in 28 appearances.
Atletico Madrid who have already lost their star striker Diego Costa to Chelsea are now
hoping to sign former Valencia star.
Soldado
has been a long term target of the Spanish side and failed last summer as Spurs signed him.
The
La Liga winners have already signed two attackers Mario Manzukic and Antoine
Griezmann from Bayern Munich and Real Sociedad.
Soldado
enjoyed his years at Valencia where he scored 81 goals in 141 games which means
he could not settled himself in the Premier League.
Despite
of his worst debut season Spurs new manager Mauricio Pochettino is confident
that the striker will shine this year and will prove his worth.
Soldado
has not find his top days at Spurs but it would be a good decision to join the Spanish Champions as he has already proved his worth in La Liga.
