Last
season, he started only 16 Premier League games due to an injury plus
consistent performances by other Liverpool center-halves.
DailyStar
reported that Arsenal have now set their eyes on Agger as their captain
Thomas Vermaelen is set for an exit this summer.
At
Arsenal he is likely to be a bench player as their starting center-backs will
be German Per Mertesacker and Frenchman Laurent Koscielny.
His
former side Brøndby is also linked with him for a return to his homeland.
Liverpool
signed him from Danish side Brøndby for £6,000,000 in 2005. He has played 232
games in nine seasons for Liverpool.
Which
