Tottenham
Hotspurs are set to sign Southampton duo Jay Rodriguez and Arsenal target Morgan
Schneiderlin according to BBC.
Discussions
are going between both the English sides and reports suggesting that the both
24 aged players will soon be announced as Spurs players.
Spurs
boss Mauricio Pochettino who managed the Saints last season will once again team
up with his old players but this time at White Hart Lane.
Midfielder
Schneiderlin has been strongly targeted by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger but now he
is set to join their rivals as Arsenal are not showing any serious interest.
Tottenham
have signed full-back Ben Davies and goalkeeper Michel Vorm from Swansea City
and looks set to announce another duo.
While
Rodriguez is currently sidelined due to an anterior cruciate ligament
injury but soon he will be found again on the field. He scored 15 Premier League goals last season.
On the other hand a difficult season is coming for the Saints, they have lost Rickie Lambert, Adam
Lallana, Dejan Lovren to Liverpool, Luke Shaw to Manchester United, Calum
Chambers to Arsenal and now the last two big names are also set for an exit.
But Southampton
have earned £92million so far and with these two names they would easily make around
£140million as Schneiderlin is valued at £27million while his fellowman might
be available for nearly £15million.
