According
to SkySports Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy is set to undergo a medical
for Liverpool.
Liverpool target Loic Remy is finally set to finalize his move as he has flown to America for a medical where Liverpool are currently enjoying their pre-season tour.
Few
days ago it was reported that Liverpool have agreed an £8.5million fee with
Queens Park rangers for their French striker and now it is reported that the
fee could rise to £11million.
Remy
who has already expressed his desire to play for a Champions League club scored
14 goals in 24 starts last season for Newcastle United.
Liverpool
squad left for Boston on Sunday for their pre-season tour where they will play Italian side Roma at Fenway Park. It is also believed that Southampton center-back Dejan Lovren will also follow Loic Remy for a medical in Boston.
Southampton
boss Ronald
Koeman told that he wants Lovren to stay but he if he wants to go then he will
go for a top price.
Lovren
who has already told that his head is at Liverpool played 31 games for the
Saints last season.
Remy
and Lovren will become fifth and sixth signings of the summer after Rickie
Lambert, Emre Can, Adam Lallana and Lazar Markovic.
