Liverpool
are set to sign Southampton center back Dejan Lovren according to Croatian
reports.
It is reported that Dejan Lovren will complete his £20million move in the next 48 hours.
Lovren
has already expressed his desire to play for Liverpool, he told that he is in
Southampton but his head is in Liverpool.
While
Southampton have also started their search for a defender who can replace Lovren
and Southampton new boss Koeman revealed that they are targeting Aston Villa Dutch
center half Ron Vlaar.
Koeman added that Vlaar was one of the best center back in the World Cup so he won’t be coming for a cheap price but still they will have to wait and see.
He told: “Ron would definitely be an option but I think he won’t be cheap right
now. ”
“For
now, Dejan can still play with us. I don’t want to lose him but, if he leaves
he will only go for a top price.”
Koeman
wants Lovren to stay but if he wants to leave then he won’t go for a cheap price.
The
25-year-old joined the Saints last year from Lyon. He played 31 Premier League games
and was the part of Croatia squad in the World Cup.
