Mirror
reported that Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdez could be moving to Premier League
this summer with Arsenal and Manchester United have shown interest in him.
Valdes who could not travelled with Spain squad to Brazil for the World Cup due to injury has planned to leave the Camp Nou after serving 15 years.
Arsenal
have eyed many goalkeepers but have not concluded any deal yet. Valdez is the latest
stopper linked with a move to the Gunners. While, it was also reported earlier
today that Manchester United are also in the race to sign the Spanish goalkeeper.
Arsene
Wenger is yet to sign any player this summer, he is still searching for more and
more talents with new reports coming linking Arsenal with new faces everyday.
The
32-year-old played 32 games for Barca last season. Overall, he has played 535 games for
the Catalans since 2002 and has won so many trophies including, La Liga,
Champions League, Copa del Rey, etc.
For
me he should not join any of them as they both have a good number one keeper. Valdes is 32 but still has the capability to play regular football. He should stay or
should join a side that need a first team keeper.
