Reports
suggested that Arsenal are targeting Colombian full-back Pablo Armero who had
an impressive World Cup this summer.
Metro
reported that Pablo Armero performances at the World Cup has attracted Arsene
Wenger who is now showing interest in the 27-year-old left-back. The Colombian played
all the five games for his country in the World Cup.
Armero
is currently a part of Italian side Udinese and will definitely look forward if
Arsenal show some serious interest.
Armero
spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham where he played five
games.
Arrival
of Armero might open the exit doors for Nacho Monreal.
While
on the other side, Arsenal are set to finalize the deal for Newcastle right-back
Mathieu Debuchy for £7.9million as the bid has been accepted by the Magpies.
The
28-year-old will become Bacary Sagna’s replacement at Emirates who left Arsenal
for Manchester City on a free transfer a month ago.
Debuchy
will be returning soon as France failed to beat Germany in the Quarter Final
round of the World Cup. He will now concentrate on his future as his international
duty is over.
Debuchy
will be a good signing but do you think Arsenal need a left back?
