Manchester
United have officially announced the signing of left back Luke Shaw from
Southampton on a long term deal.
Louis
van Gaal successfully made Shaw his second summer signing after Ander Herrera
who signed yesterday. The fee is believed to be around £30million for Shaw.
United
made two signings in two days and now looks set to land their third signing.
After
the signature, Shaw added that he is very happy on his move to Old Trafford and
mentioned United as an ideal place.
United
legend and assistant manager Ryan Giggs said: “Luke is a very talented young
left-back with great potential. He has developed immensely during his time at
Southampton and has all the attributes to become a top player.”
Shaw
will probably be replacing Patrice Evra who might be returning to France this
summer after playing nine seasons at United.

Which
one is better? Shaw is young and will improve in the future while Evra was definitely
a brilliant left back of his time but now he is 33-year-old and he might leave
this summer as he is well aware of his future at Old Trafford.
