Sanchez has strongly been linked with Liverpool in the past few days and reports claimed that he was included in the part of Luis Suarez deal to Barcelona.

Thompson revealed that Suarez will be moving away from Anfield despite of his biting incident few days ago.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique looks set to secure the signing of Uruguayan as he wants to bring glory days back at the Camp Nou.

Thompson said: “What will happen to Luis Suarez in the future? Is he angling for a move? Who knows.”

“Just yesterday I heard things from people, newspaper guys who are very close to the ground at Liverpool, saying that the Sanchez deal was actually done.”

So it means Suarez is still close in finalizing a Barca switch whole the versatile player Sanchez is heading to Anfield.

Currently, both the players are in Brazil for the World Cup.

While on the other hand, Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is still in doubts for the future. Reina’s agent is working hard to solve his future problems as now Napoli have rejected his move. Reina who spent last year on loan at Napoli still has two years left on his Liverpool contract.

Reina told Gazzetta dello Sport, “I want to be calm. There are people who are woarking on my future,” “I have two years left on my Liverpool contract and the situation is the same as a month ago. I’ve not spoken to Brendan Rodgers and I don’t know what Liverpool think. But I have a contract and that is what counts.”

Reina is being eyed by Napoli and Arsenal this summer while reports claimed that Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is not interested in signing the 31-year-old stopper on a permanent deal.
Reina played 29 games in Serie A last season.
