Hodgson has insisted that he won’t be leaving the Three Lions because of yesterday’s defeat. Liverpool and Uruguay star striker Luis Suarez scored a brace which led Uruguay to get vital three points.

Wayne Rooney scored his first World Cup goal which was an equalizer later cleared out by Suarez who was given a one on one chance by a flick from skipper Steven Gerrard.
England who have lost both of their starting games are unlikely to qualify for the knock out stages.

FACT: “Any team who have lost the two openings games have never qualified for the knockout stages”

England have still a chance to qualify but it depends on Italy who must win both the games first. Costa Rica who beat Uruguay 3-1 will also not be an easy side to play for such England squad. If England fail to qualify for the round of 16 then Hodgson might be sacked.

The Three Lions boss told: “I don't have any intention to resign. I'm bitterly disappointed, of course, but I don't feel I need to resign, no.”

Now all it depends on FA who will take the decision, Hodgson want to continue but FA might not let him stay if England fail to qualify for the next round.

He continued: “On the other hand, and if the FA think I'm not the right man to do the job, that will be their decision, and not mine.”

Suarez was in total control in most part of the game despite of that two goals, there was nothing exceptional from the Uruguayan according to England boss.
