Bender on Arsenal's radar
Bayer
Leverkusen defensive midfielder Lars Bender is still on Arsenal’s radar according
to Daily Express.
Last
season, Leverkusen rejected a £15 million bid from the Gunners and this time
Wenger is planning to make a new improved offer of £21 million.
Arsene
Wenger is eyeing Bender as a replacement of Mikel Arteta who is 32-year-old. While
Bender is 25-year-old and can play 4-5 years easily.
The German midfielder
played 35 games for the Bundesliga side last season.
New right back targeted
Wenger
have targeted another player who can replace Bacary Sagna next season. Newcastle
United right-back Mathieu Debuchy is the latest right back linked with the
Emirates side.
Arsenal
were strongly linked with Toulouse full back Serge Aurier but difficulties in signing
him have diverted their attention to a Debuchy .
Debuchy,
28, played 29 games for the Magpies last season and currently helping France in
the World Cup.
Update on Balotelli
Talksport
reported that AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli will be moving to Emirates as
his agent has claimed that Balotelli is ready for a move.
AC
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani recently said that he is not ready to
sell Balotelli as he is irreplaceable at the Sani Siro.
The
Italian who failed to help his team to qualify for the knockout stages of the World
Cup will be a great addition to Arsenal.
