Fiorentina striker Mario Gomez has been excluded by Germany coach Joachim Loew from his 30 man squad for the coming World Cup in
summer.
Gomez has netted 25 goals in 59 games for Germany but
due to lack of time on the field this season for his club Fiorentina, he was
not included by the German coach for the World Cup, he has only played 13 games
this season, scoring only four goals.

Lazio striker Miroslav Klose and Hoffenheim striker Kevin Volland
are the only strikers selected in the 30 man squad.
Klose, 35, has scored 8 goals in 26 games in all
competition this season while the other striker Volland who plays for Hoffenheim
is only 21-year-old and has netted 10 in 32 appearances.
Gomez who scored three important goals for Germany in
the Euro 2012 also captained the team in the first game against Ukraine, it was
his 50th appearance for Germany.
