Steven Gerrard’s double gave Liverpool a win against
Manchester United at Old Trafford while for Arsenal Tomas Rosicky’s early
strike sinked Tottenham at White hart Lane.
Yesterday it was one of the biggest Sunday as two of
the biggest games were played, one was between Manchester United and Liverpool while the
other was London derby between Spurs and Arsenal.
Gerrard scored twice, both were scored on penalties
conceded by United’s defenders Rafael and Phil Jones while United’s Captain Nemanja
Vidic got a red card for giving the third penalty on the 78th minute
which was a dive from Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and it was missed by
LFC skipper.
Luis Suarez collected Sturridge’s shot in the box and calmly
put the ball in the back of the net that was his 25th goal of Premier League this season, the Uruguayan remains at the top of the goal scorer chart. Liverpool are 14 points above David Moyes side.
While on the other hand Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky
gave Arsenal a lead just after 75 seconds from the kick off. Rosicky bullet
shot was the only goal scored and gave Arsenal vital three points to chase the
first position.
Now Tottenham are nine points behind Arsenal and
Liverpool, it is difficult for them to get the fourth spot.
Do you think David Moyes will be sacked?
Do you think there is still chance for Spurs to get
the Champions League spot?
