Barcelona
star midfielder Xavi has told that he will not be moving to Premier League at
the end of his career.
Numerous
Premier League sides including Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United have
shown interest in him according to rumours.
Xavi
who has made 130 appearances for his country has said that he had many opportunities
to play in the Premier league but he refused. This probably means that the
veteran will end his career at Camp Nou.
Xavi
told The Sun, "There was always talk United or Chelsea or City and Arsenal
wanted to sign me but never anything concrete.”
He said that he loves Barca and is a Barca fan so his first, second and
third option is always Barcelona. If he had
played for any other club then he’d always be thinking of Barcelona. He wants to end his career at Camp Nou.
"I
never thought of leaving like Cesc Fabregas, who went to Arsenal.”
He
further said that every club know that getting him is impossible, they know he
loves Barca, he will never leave.
"I've
no regrets at all, but I still think at times that I would have loved to play
in England. You 'live' football over there."
His feeling, dream and idea was to be at
Barcelona, forever.
