Top five underrated footballers in the world: Antonio Di Natale, Paulinho, Gokhan Inler, Chicharito and Britton are the names that are underarted for me.

After searching a lot, I have found these five players who I think are underrated and are good enough to be rated highly.

1.      Antonio Di Natale (Udinese and Italy)
In recent years Di Natale has proved to be a wonderful goal scoring striker but still is not rated rightly.
He has enjoyed his most prolific seasons in front of the goal after the age of 30. The 36-year-old has scored 195 in 374 games for Serie A side Udinese since his arrival from Empoli in 2004. While this season he has netted seven times in the Italian league.

2.      Paulinho (Tottenham and Brazil)
Brazilian midfielder Paulinho who is playing his first season at Spurs will play a key role for Brazil in the coming World Cup. The 25-year-old is a box to box midfielder with decent passing skills and heavy runs through the midfield.

Last year he won FIFA Confederations Cup with Brazil.

3.      Gokhan Inler (Napoli and Switzerland)
The 29-year-old Napoli midfielder has the quality to score and assist goals, with his powerful long range shots. He is a fine player with an ability to control the game easily. The Swiss player is currently one of the best midfielder in the Serie A, yesterday he scored a goal in a 3-1 win over AC Milan.

4.      Javier Hernandez “Chicharito” (Manchester United and Mexico)
The 25-year-old Mexican striker scored 18 goals in 36 appearances for Manchester United last season. Despite of his great goal ratio per match, he is still an undervalued player at United. He is struggling to get the starting line-up but due to the presence of the duo Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney, it is difficult for him to start a match.

5.      Leon Britton (Swansea City and England)
Swansea side are well known for their passing ability and Britton is that midfielder who connects the game from the center of the field. No one has noticed his quality.
With his simple passes and touches he moves the ball around the field, he has proved to be an important player for Swansea City.
