Today’s article is regarding the best eleven of
Premier League of the 21st century. Some of the best players in the
world have played in the English league, like Thierry Henry, Frank Lampard and Steven
Gerrard. These names have always been on top for their club and are considered
as the legends. This eleven is definitely very difficult to choose because
hundreds of top players have played in Premier League and here I have to choose
eleven out of them.
Here are the eleven players.
Edwin
van der Sar
The Dutch goalkeeper played ten years in Premier League,
2001-2005 for Fulham and after it for Manchester United till 2011. He made 313 appearances
in BPL.
Sol Campbell
Former Arsenal and Tottenham star defender played 503 games in his career in the Premier League. He played for four different teams namely Tottenham, Arsenal, Portsmouth and Newcastle United.
John
Terry
Chelsea captain is playing 16th season
in Premier League with Chelsea. The Blues loyal defender has played 412 games
for them in his 16 years of stay.
Ashley Cole
Former Arsenal and current Chelsea left back has been playing in Premier League since 2000. The Englishman has made more than 350 appearances in BPL.
The two times Ballon d’Or winner played six years at Manchester
United before leaving for Real Madrid in 2009. The Portugal international attacker
scored 84 goals in 196 games for the Red Devils.
Steven
Gerrard
The Liverpool born player is playing 16th
season in the Premier League. He has netted 105 goals in 461 matches for the
Anfield side in BPL.
Frank
Lampard
Chelsea all-time top scorer played for two different
club West ham United and Chelsea in the Premier League. He has made more than 550 appearances and still looking to increase
that figure even at the age of 35.
Cesc
Fabregas
The 26-year-old played eight years in BPl at Arsenal.
The Spaniard made 212 appearances for the Gunners.
Thierry
Henry
Arsenal all time top scorer Henry spent eight seasons at
Arsenal from 1999-2007. The Frenchman scored 175 goals for Arsenal in 258 matches .
Didier
Drogba
During his eight years of stay from 2004 to 2012 in London
at Chelsea, he scored 100 goals in 226 games.
Luis
Suarez
In only 3.5 years in Premier League he has become one
of the best strikers in the world. Currently BPL top scorer with 23 goals.
