Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has told ahead of the Liverpool clash in the Barclays Premier League that Arsenal won’t be making any bid for the Liverpool star striker Luis Suarez.

Wenger has insisted that he has no regrets regarding the failure in his transfer attempts for Suarez last summer and confirmed that Arsenal will not make any new offer for the Uruguayan in the future.

Arsenal will not make a bid for Suarez again

Last summer it was reported that Arsenal were interest in landing him and they made a bid of £40 million but failed to sign him, after which they brought Mesut Ozil from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Luis Suarez has been sensational since the start of the season, he has netted 23 goals in 19 games for the Reds in the league, currently the top goal scorer in the Premier League.

Wenger answered “NO” when asked if The Gunners might make a new bid for Suarez.

England international jack Wilshere is ready to return in the coming fixture against Liverpool on Saturday at Anfield. The 22-year-old missed the last two matches with an ankle injury he suffered during a match against Coventry in FA Cup.

Arsenal are sitting at the top of the table in the Premier League with 55 points, City are two points behind the Gunners. A win for Arsenal will definitely give them the boost to win the Premier League after ten years.

Wenger said that every point is important in the league, Arsenal deserved to be in the title race, while he also added that Chelsea are in the title race, despite of Jose Mourinho comments that they are not fighting for the title this season.
