BPL Round up: Giroud brace gave Gunners three points

Here are a little overview of all big games played yesterday.

Chelsea 1-0 Everton
John Terry’s last minute touch gave the Blues the vital three points against Everton yesterday.
Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard couldn't properly judge Frank Lampard’s curling freekick and put the ball in his own net after a little touch of the captain Terry. While Everton were the better side but due to the absence of a striker they failed to score a goal. Everton were confident that they are going to bring one point home until the last minute drama.
This victory has given Chelsea three vital points and now they are continuing the enjoyment of top place.

Arsenal 4-1 Sunderland
Arsenal scored four goals against Sunderland at Emirates, thanks to Olivier Giroud for scoring two goals and setting up one for Tomas Rosicky. The fourth one came from a header of Laurent Koscielny from Santi Cazorla’s corner kick.
Sunderland player Emanuele Giaccherini scored a brilliant volley from 25 yards, the only goal from the away side.
Arsenal are one point behind the league leaders Chelsea.

Manchester City 1-0 Stoke City
City midfielder Yaya Toure scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Stoke City. The goal came on 20 minutes when Aleksandar Kolarov rolled a ball towards Toure into a six yard box who calmly finished into the back of the net. While Edin Dzeko had a chance to double their lead but he missed a simple touch just two yard away from the goal.

Crystal Palace 0-2 Manchester United
A great win for Manchester United away from home. Dutchman Robin van Persie scored a penalty and Wayne Rooney celebrated his new deal by scoring a volley that gave David Moyes three points. Thanks to Patrice Evra for setting up both the goals.
United are now above Everton on 6th place with 45 points.
