Match Preview: Arsenal vs Manchester United Arsenal

Both sides are looking to bounce back from their last game result as Arsenal were beaten by Liverpool at Anfield by five goals to nil, and United drew 2-2 to Fulham at Old Trafford.

Latest Team news for both teams:
Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo has recovered from his back injury after five months for tonight’s game against the Red Devils. Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini will be serving his last one game ban and Aaron Ramsey is sidelined with a thigh problem. While both defender Kim Kallstrom and Thomas Vermaelen are out with back and calf injury.

For Manchester United summer signing Marouanne Fellaini and Phil Jones are set to miss the trip to London. Fellaini is still out with a groin injury which he suffered last week and Jones picked up a calf injury in the last fixture against Fulham.  Defender Johnny Evans is also out with a calf problem. While United young gun Adnan Januzaj could make a start tonight.

Arsenal last five BPL games:
West Ham 1 - 3 Arsenal
Newcastle 0 - 1 Arsenal
Arsenal 2 - 0 Cardiff City
Aston Villa 1 - 2 Arsenal
Arsenal 2 - 0 Fulham

United last five BPL games:
United 3 - 1 West Ham
Hull City 2 - 3 United
Norwich City 0 - 1 United

Head to head (last five BPL meetings):
United 1 – 0 Arsenal
Arsenal 1 - 1 United
United 2– 1 Arsenal
Arsenal 1 – 2 United
United 2 – 2 Arsenal

Stat: “Arsenal have kept 10 clean sheets in their last 11 matches in all competitions at the Emirates Stadium and conceded just one in the other match.”

My Prediction:
Arsenal 1-1 Manchester United
