Manchester United boss David Moyes is in line to win Premier League manager award for the month of December.
While Manchester City’s boss Manuel Pellegrini is also
nominated for this award, City won six of their seven matches, an unbeaten run
has put him up for this award.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is also in contention of
this award. The Portuguese manager won five, drew one and lost one in December.
This makes a 71 percent of winning ratio for Chelsea.
The last manager up for the award is Everton’s boss
Roberto Martinez. He took Everton to 5th place by winning 13 points
in six games.
These all managers have not won this award this
season. Brenden Rodgers (Liverpool), Alan Pardew (Newcastle United), Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) and Mauricio Pochettino (Southampton) have already won
it.
While looking on the other side there are new contenders
for the player of the month award three of them are from Manchester City namely
Alvaro Negredo, Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany. Everton young star Ross Barkley
is also included in the nominations. Liverpool and Premier League top scorer
Luis Suarez is leading the nominees. Theo Walcott who is out for six months due
to an injury is also in the list.
