Chelsea
boss Jose Mourinho has said that Chelsea have no intention of signing a forward
during January and also said that he still wants to keep Juan Mata at Stamford
Bridge.
The
Portuguese manager has said clearly that they will not sign a striker in this
transfer window as he has showed his faith in Fernando Torres who scored in
the last two games. Chelsea boss thinks that Fernando Torres will continue this
form and so they will not need a striker.
Yes
it has been rumouring around that Chelsea are looking to sign players but they
are not strikers, former Chelsea player Nemanja Matic is close in returning to
Stamford Bridge according to reports.
Matic
left Chelsea as part of the David Luiz’s deal to Stamford Bridge in 2011.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said that Torres is calm right now because he knows we
are not going to buy a striker this window. Every club wants their strikers to
score because strikers are the goal scorers.
Chelsea
trusted Fernando Torres in the summer that’s why they did not sign a striker
and Mourinho has still showed his faith in the Spaniard.
The
former Real Madrid manager further added that Chelsea have players who can
score goals from other positions like Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard. But this
is strikers’ job to put the ball into back of the net.

Mourinho
admired his team and other players like Oscar, Willian and Eden Hazard who are
playing well according to him. Mata will rise in February because maybe some
players will lose their form.
