Manchester
United are discussing with Chelsea over the availability of Juan Mata who is
not been a regular at Stamford Bridge this season.
Former
Chelsea manager André Villas-Boas brought the Spaniard for £23.5 million form
Valencia in 2011. He has scored 33 goals and assisted 58 in his Chelsea career.
While this term he has not scored a goal in thirteen Premier League appearances.
He has played 90 minutes only three times this season.
Chelsea
attacking midfielder Mata wants to leave Stamford Bridge for regular football
as the World Cup is coming in the summer, he wants to play more in order to
secure his place in the Spain squad. And according to Guillem Balague (Sky
Sports pundit) both Manchester United and Chelsea are ready for this deal.
Balague
said on Revista de La Liga that both sides are in contact regarding the future
of Mata. Chelsea want £35 million or Wayne Rooney as part of the deal. While United
have rejected both the demands. Balague thinks that Mata will move to United
because it benefits all.
Manchester United has not been playing like they used to under new manager David Moyes.
Mata will be perfect, who can help them to get the top 4.
Chelsea
are urging them to pay more than £32 million for their player.
